Airlines and Accessibility
Most people take travel for granted. Sure, airplanes and trains can often feel cramped (especially on long trips), hotels rarely feel like home (regardless of commercials claiming otherwise), and delays are an inconvenience. But travel has become easier and faster than ever before. For some people, however, travel can be a trying experience because companies do not take their needs into account. Despite the establishment of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 1990, disabled people often find themselves treated rudely, forgotten, or without access to basic facilities.
